This young lady is one of our newest loans, paid out today from
repayment proceeds from our previous loans. We now have 32 outstanding
loans, many of which are repaying in small amounts. Evelyn De Jesus Rosado Vite is 19 years old. She is married and lives with her husband and children in the canton of Ventanas in the Los Rios province. She has 2 children. Evelyn is a member of the rural communal bank "La Esperanza,” which is located 25 kilometers from the canton of Ventanas. This is a community where there is a lot of wholesale trade activity. This group meets every month in the San Vincente neighborhood. Evelyn works in retail trade selling clothing and "Porta" (an Ecuadorean cell phone company) mobile phone recharge cards. She makes her purchases in Guayaquil, and sells her items from her house and door-to-door. She requests a loan to buy merchandise to expand her business. This loan will help her financially to buy the supplies she needs. Her dream is to have a large house. She enjoys traveling. |
