Vocational Service Award for Daybreak Rotary Club
I have been asked by the president Barry to organize a Vocational Service Award. I’ve started a committee made up of three members: Josh West, Susanne Grundisun and Trevor Cunningham.
Essentially our goal with the Vocational Service Award is to encourage vocational excellence and the practice of high ethical standards within businesses by recognizing deserving individuals or organizations.
The details:
Make this an annual award during Vocational Service Month (October)
We will give out one award but maybe more depending on the nominations.
There will be unlimited nominations excepted.
Our target is an adult individual or organization.
A plaque with be given in recognition (valued under $100).
What are the criteria?
Essentially any person or business or organization that you feel deserves an award for possibly one the following: a business the encourages vocational excellence and high ethical standards; exemplifies the 4 way test; can be someone who obviously abides by the rotary motto “Service Above Self”; or possibly a specific achievements.

Verbally tell Josh West, Trevor or Susan of a nomination,
There will be a link with our Emails on them so you can email us the nomination
Deadline October 31, 2007
The Vocational Service Committee will provide a recommendation to the club and/or the membership will vote at a morning meeting.
The recipient will be notified
The award will be given at a time determined by the President
